Caribbean Draw Poker utilises a blend of traditional 5 card draw poker and Caribbean Stud Poker to form an engaging, action packed table game. To begin with, the player places an ante bet. After placing the ante bet he gets 5 cards each dealt face up. The dealer is also given 5 cards, with the 5th and final card placed face up on the table.

On seeing the dealers up-card, the player may decide whether to call or fold. If he calls, he is allowed to discard up to 2 cards and replace them by drawing 2 new cards from the deck. This is the players final action in the hand.

The dealer then turns over the rest of his hand. On assessing the strength of his hand, he will decide on the number of cards to draw. As with the player, he may draw a maximum of two new cars. After the dealer has drawn, the hands are compared and the winner is paid out accordingly.

In order to payout on the call bet, the dealer must first have what is known as a qualifying hand. In Caribbean Draw Poker, the minimum requirement for a qualifying hand is a pair of eights or better. If the dealer has a hand value less than a pair of eights, he pays out even money (1 to 1) on all ante bets. All call bets are voided.
